7 months old

Spring is here.....or should I say was here. We were blessed with a few beautiful days last week, the temperature reached 84 degrees! But this week it has been cold and rainy everyday. The beautiful weather has brought many firsts for Addison. We spent alot of time outside playing at the park, going to the zoo, sitting on the porch watching cars drive by and waving (haha), going on walks, and just playing in the grass. What a busy little girl. Along with all the new things she has been doing outside she has managed to do just as many while we have been inside! She can now pull herself on just about anything, and she cruises all around. She also has started saying.....DaDa. She now officially has Brandon wrapped around her little finger!!

Needless to say all this cruising, rolling, and pulling herself up has brought on a whole new element to life with Addison. She is unstoppable. I cannot imagine what it will be like when she starts walking (stay tuned....)! Unfortanely she had her first major accident already this weekend.... she fell off of the bed. It scared her, and she cried and cried. But she recovered quickly. A lot quicker than I did. I felt absolutely terrible.

Cole, the neighbor boy. He is 5 months old. Addison wanted to eat him!

Playing in the grass and eventually trying to eat it!

Getting ready for the big day at the zoo!

Bright pink birdies at the zoo.

First time riding the merry-go-round with daddy. It went pretty fast. Brandon said she was holding on for dear life!

Our little Joey. She was having so much fun playing in the kangaroo's pouch.

First time in the swing.... those are real tears!

I only cried the first time, and then I totally fell in love with it!

Going down the slide with mommy's help.

Addison's little mohawk in the bath!

Mmmmm....pears are sooo good :)

So proud to be pulling herself up and cruisen' around. Makes mommy a nervous wreck!

Happy Easter!!!

Here are a few pictures of Addison from her very first Easter! We had a very busy weekend, and she did wonderful. I know I say this all the time, but we are so blessed! She ended up with two Easter dresses, so she wore one of them on Palm Sunday and the other on Easter.

Easter dresses are so fun!

She was sitting up playing on the bed but apparently her dress was too fluffy, and she gave up!
She didn't even try to get back up, haha.

Walking with Daddy's help is her favorite thing to do.

Aren't her baby rolls just adorable. I will be so sad when she outgrows them!

Her first little bunny. Thanks great-grandma Judy.

Easter Sunday is Kauffman tradition for getting the Mustang out of storage for the summer. As you can tell, Daddy was so happy to have his little girl be a part of it!! We will see in sixteen years if he is equally as excited when she wants to drive it!!

It was too windy to take her little hat off. She did like the mustang, but she will not be riding in it as her carseat does not fit :(

Daddy with his two babies!
We had a really great weekend. Brandon was really excited to have Addison be part of his little tradition. I was excited too, because I love to see him with something (actually two things) that he is so passionate about, his little girl and his mustang!

Some Catchin' Up To Do

Well, here we are! We have decided to join the blogging world, and we have some catching up to do. I won't bore you with our entire life (haha) just a few of my favorite pics of our now almost seven month old daughter. She is amazing and has been more of a blessing than we ever could have imagined.

I couldn't find any artwork to match her bedding, so I made it myself!

The Nursery

A very tired mama, and a beautiful newborn baby after her bath!
Grandma Carmen pretty much lived with us for the first two and a half weeks of Addi's life.

This is one of Addison's signature poses when she was little. She was doing this everytime we saw her in the ultrasounds!

Daddy and Addi

All the money we spent on a crib, a bassinet, a swing, etc. and she slept in this chair in the living room. It was her favorite b/c she felt cuddled by the rounded seat.

A sleeping baby is so precious.

Daddy picked out this outfit for me.

We love her!

Another pic with Grandma Carmen

One tired little girl.... she loved it when her hat was over her eyes...still does

She was so excited when she discovered the image in her mirror.

She looks like her mommy :)

And here it is. Addison's other signature pose. She has severe stranger anxiety and has had it since about 8 wks old. She would do this to anyone and everyone (but mommy and daddy of course) So dramatic, but we love her anyway!

Yes, my mom made me wear this in public.

Helping mommy make dinner in my pj's.

Playtime on the bed with Daddy is my favorite!

More playtime with Daddy!

Yes, I am already standing up in my crib.

Sorry for such a long first post. They won't all be this long as I have a very active baby girl to keep entertained. And I will try my hardest to keep it current!
